What we noticed about the smell
In the owners' own use, Purrify made the biggest difference to litter-box smell of anything they have tried. That is why we recommend considering it when odor remains a problem after the rest of the litter routine is working.
What an additive does in your routine
Litter does the physical work. It clumps, it holds together when you scoop, and it either tracks across the floor or it does not. Activated carbon does none of that. It holds smell.
You can keep the litter your cat already accepts and add Purrify according to the official instructions. Continue scooping and cleaning the box as usual.
Who it suits
It suits you if the litter is fine and the smell is not. A box that has to live near the room you sit in is the case where fixing smell is worth the most.
If your problem is litter down the hall or a cloud when you pour, change the litter first. This will not touch either one, and we would rather you spent the money on the right thing.
